7 Nights - Luxury All Inclusive Cancun Beach Vacation W/Air

Solo Travellers First of all if you visit here solo you will be treated as less than, compared to people travelling together. As I was solo when I was checking in and out no one wanted to help me to my room or with my luggage. At dinner no one ever took a drinks order from me (I don't mind getting my own drinks, but the offer would of been nice) All Inclusive Elements Pros: -Lots of food and drink variety -Could book specialised restaurants -Lots of day time activities and entertainment -Adults pool with cabannas -Nice gym -Incredible club lounge bar Cons: -Not a lot of vegetarian food -No food or drink available until 7am (awful for early risers) -Have to wake up and book specialised restaurants at 8am on the dot if you want to use one, and I hate being on timer on holiday -The sushi lunch restaurant was shut half the time I was there Staff -I got passed over a lot as a solo traveller -Were really 50/50 as some were pleased to see you and couldn't do another for you, whereas others saw you as an inconvenience -Shout out to Carlos the club lounge bartender and Danielle in the massage bit as both of these people really made my holiday Tipping I appreciate that Mexico is a tipping culture so brought £50 to generously give out in tips. For me the point of an all inclusive and paying the premium for it is that you do not have to tip, however with the understanding of Mexico being a tipping culture I brought some money to give to outstanding staff. However, the staff her expect a tip for doing their job, for example a guy made up the day bed I was sitting on and expected a tip.... You don't get a tip for doing your literally job, particularly when a premium has been paid for all inclusive, the staff should already be compensated with any times a bonus. That being said as mentioned above some staff did go above and beyond and well earned their tips. Do be warned though at on an evening at the buffet the only way you can get alcholic drinks is through staff, who if they bring you a drink, you guessed it, expect a tip. Aboslutly insane to me, even for a tipping culture. Other points of note: Nighclub is good but shuts early at 1am Cancun central is only a 15min bus stop away and you have to flag down the bus No mosquitos Hope this helps future customers.
