Trendy Hotel By Athens is a cute boutique hotel. We were pleased with our stay and all the amenities and the most incredible shower / bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and nice plush towels and comfy pillows and bed sheets. The room was a bit tight but had great AC and TV as well as a safe and awesome blower. The breakfast was great lots of options. The location while at first was a bit intimidating coming from the airport and first time in Athens all we saw was graffiti everywhere and we could not believe how much there was so we were a bit skeptical of the area but to be honest it was super safe and walking distance toward the main tourist area 20 minutes to the acropolis and lots of breakfast cafes everywhere along the way and people walking. We had a walkway where there were some bars and shops and another hotel boutique and everyone was super friendly we stopped for a drink and was given one on the house. We called Ubers at times and they pulled up right to the Trendy or to the walkway so overall we had a great stay. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and answered our emails for transportation pick up. We would recommend. Thank You Trendy.

The hotel staff are incredible friendly, the rooms are modern and very clean (probably the best shower I had in Greece), great breakfast. I was concerned about the location by some reviews; yes, there is graffiti (same as most cities), but I felt very safe and found some great local restaurants / cafes. You are also at tops a 20 minute walk to everything (and cabs are so cheap that you don't have to worry about it being expensive). The only complaint - and it has nothing to do with the hotel - there is a loud club on the weekends nearby. The nights we spend during the week it was lovely, Friday and Saturday night it's like you are there until 5am. I would most certainly stay here again during any weeknight.

The shuttle trips and mini bar items are charged at the end of your stay and they will only take euro cash. They do not put incidentals on a credit card! Not very convenient. The front desk was not friendly or welcoming at all. They also charge you for every drink of water you take. I ordered a margarita pizza at the restaurant and got a cheese pizza. Disappointed to say the least. Breakfast was marginal and could have been better. The only person at the hotel who was friendly was the cute waitress, “Maria” and the cute man that insisted on helping us with every piece of luggage. The rooms are dated and small. The bathroom situation needs and update and beds are marginal. I would not stay there again!

Great hospitality, couple run business and both are great! At first we were like where are we looked like we were in the middle of the dessert but it turned out to be a great area and service with a nice small tasty breakfast. The room itself was ok bed and breakfast feel, beds ok pillows decent they had a safe, mini fridge, balcony outside the hotel. Shower was really small which is probably only downside as the water sort of went toward the sink and toilet bowl they also had a blower too. To be honest the hospitality service was great too. The hotel is away from most tourist attractions but the bus is close by 5 min walking distance and was a very nice Coach bus with great seats for $2.50. The area also has some Gems like Black Beach and another Red Beach as well as local convenience stores, restaurants and pizza place close by. We rented a car which also was nearby and Kiki arranged that they would bring the car right to hotel and drop it off there too for $50 Euros for the day and she told us where to go and best place to eat which we loved and went back 2x it had a garden within it and near all the shopping area. We also drove all over the island to Oia, Fira to the Light House and saw the Blue Domes. So overall it was a good stay and we do recommend this hotel and area Perissa was pretty cool.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy hotel. The hotel is in white and blue Santorini colors. It is only a 5 minute walk from the beach. The hotel is family-owned, and is kept very clean. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was not huge, but had all the right stuff - a basket of fresh fruit, coffee, hot water for tea, yogurt, sausage, cheese, croissants, pastries, boiled eggs, bread, cereal, and milk. We were 3 people and we got a whole apartment consisting of 2 bedrooms, a hallway, a bathroom and a patio with a view of the nearby mountain. The first 2 nights it was pretty windy, so it was hard to fall asleep with all the wind howling and shaking of windows. But on the 3rd night, it calmed down and was pretty comfortable. Each room has a flat screen TV with multiple channels, which may be affected by the wind. The owners, Kiki and Michael, are pleasant and answered all our questions, including the shortcut road to the beach and the recommendations for lunch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Perissa!

Shower was really small which is probably only downside but to be honest the hospitality and on demand service you get with this hotel eliminates all negatives. We even got a lift from one of the owners to our transfer bus when we were departing. The hotel is away from most tourist attractions but don’t we weren’t disheartened at all, we saw a beautiful sunrise, plentiful of convenience stores, lovely restaurants and desserts places. Everything was so nearby, we hired a Smart car which also was nearby. So overall was a good stay and do recommend this hotel and area Perissa

Room (rate 2/5) : very small & tight for the steep price (similar to most room sizes in urban Japan) - we had to stand up our luggages (1 suite case per person) all the time; thankfully room is clean; faces main road where tram runs (thankfully we're not light sleepers); balcony small & non functional -- don't bother. Shower water strong & hot. AC good. TV mainly local except for come foreign news broadcast. Key downside: room incredibly small & tight. Proximity (rate 5/5) : 10..15mins walk to all the main sites (Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Markets, Eminonu/Sirkeci ferry piers etc) and plenty of eateries everywhere Breakfast (3/5) : turkish breakfast.
