  Hotel is in a good location just down from the train station. Lots of restaurants near by. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. It's an old building so the lift is small 2 people max. Don't be expecting 5 star luxury its plain and simple. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it.

  Comfortable and well functioning Hotel near Roma Termini

  We stayed at Hotel Rimini Roma Termini for four nights in early September, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience even though it was an old and no-frills property. We had arrived really early morning after an overnight flight from India and skeptical about getting a room at that hour; but Mr Matia at the Reception figured out a way to give us a Room as an insanely early check-in and that truly set the tone of our 28 days to come trip across Italy and Switzerland. The hotel itself is quaint and compact, very much in line with many older Roman buildings around the Termini area. The rooms are small but functional, with everything you need neatly arranged to make good use of the limited space. While the amenities are basic and nothing fancy, the room was clean, comfortable, and practical—just right for someone spending most of the day exploring the city. We remember the Reception staff went out of their to lend us the adaptors for our mobiles and my laptop and then guiding us to right shop to buy them for the remainder of our trip. The close proximity to Roma Termini Station was a huge advantage. Whether it was catching our Red Bus HOHO every day and even multiple times in a day or simply grabbing a quick bite nearby or some simple shopping at the India stores just next to the Termini and of course, take our Train to Florence on the last day.If you're looking for a simple, centrally located hotel with genuinely caring staff, Hotel Rimini Roma Termini is a reliable choice. We left feeling happy with our stay and appreciative of the hospitality that made our time in Rome easier and more enjoyable.

  Very close to Rome train station, very clean and comfortable!

  My husband and I stayed a night after our train ride. It is a 5 minute straight walk from the main station. The room was larger (in Europe terms) with a heat pump for a/c. The bathroom was a good size with decent shower strength and a sink, toilet and bidet. There was a writing desk, mini fridge, armoire for clothes and a very comfortable king bed with many pillows. It was quiet with dark curtains, so a great sleep. The room was very clean throughout. Breakfast included with the room, included croissants, chocolate tarts, cereal, yogurt, toast, boiled eggs, apple and pineapple juices, and a coffee maker with cappuccino, espresso, hot cocoa and several combinations.There is a very small and confining elevator, as well as wide and winding stairs - your choice! The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly, speaking English easily if we found it easier. They also held our luggage on check out day until we finished an outing.An excellent experience with great location and comfort!

  Awful experience

  We had an awful stay at this hotel in Rome. When we arrived, the man at the front desk was extremely rude and took over half an hour just to assign us a room. The entire building was cordoned off with a huge generator outside — and despite the power being out, we weren’t emailed or warned about this beforehand. We were simply told on arrival that the rooms were supposedly fine. Unfortunately, the elevator was also out of service, and we were placed on the top floor.Our room was damp, and the air conditioning was leaking from the ceiling. While the bed was clean enough, the overall condition of the room was poor. I knew I had booked a budget hotel, but this was well below budget standards. Our booking stated there would be a kettle with tea and coffee facilities and a room safe, yet none of these were provided.Breakfast was supposedly included, but we weren’t shown where it was or how to access it. We tried to look ourselves, but going up and down multiple flights of stairs was awful, and the staff didn’t seem at all approachable to ask. There was no clear place to eat, no one offered any help or information, and everyone seemed generally rude and unwelcoming. The experience was so awful that we booked a different hotel the very next day just to get out of there.

  Lovely Staff, good location - no frills and could do with update.

  Travelled with my adult Son. Asked for twin given a double. We noticed the bed could separate so did it ourselves then the staff kept it like that when making beds afterwards. I would have given it a four but no tea or coffee making facilities in the hotel. Only time drinks available is at breakfast. There was a very small fridge so we kept water in the room but had to bring your hot drinks in from surrounding cafes. We went out for break fast towards the end as cafes cheap and selection more varied.Internet available but not fast. Lift is tiny and a bit clunky. My son would walk up and i would take lift. Could definitely benefit from a update. Air worked so that was great as we went in July so very hot. Staff were all lovely.Great location for Transport as close to station. 30 minutes walk from Colosseum.
