Excellent Hotel In A Central Location Ideal For Sightseeing

The hotel is in a central location so a great base for sightseeing ,easy access to Russell Square tube literally within 5 minutes of the hotel.
We booked a basic triple room with three single beds which included free parking and breakfast .

The room we stayed in is basic but more than adequate for a short stay, it has a modern bathroom with excellent shower facility very powerful hot water , small wardrobe, tv, hair dryer, tea/ coffee making facilities.
The beds are very comfortable , the pillows are the best we’ve ever slept on so good that I actually took photographs of the labels so I could order the same pillows when we returned home which I’ve done I can’t wait for them to arrive .
The breakfast facility is excellent and offers a huge choice of food and drinks ,including full English breakfast , cereals, juices eg, the food is good quality and regularly replenished the food is cooked to a high standard , the hotel also has a snack / pizza cafe and pub , the hotel runs like clockwork, staff are very helpful and welcoming.
I feel we received good value for money considering the cost of accommodation in London, if we return I Will definitely book this hotel again .

I've stayed at this hotel twice and both times were fantastic! We were helped by Uthpala during check-in and she was great and offered a free early check-in for us. Comfy beds. Fresh linen and security card operated lifts. Nice location. The Italian restaurant across the road is super.
Breakfast £15/person was plentiful but mediocre. The coffee was bland and the machines broke several times in one session.
Biggest hassle was 2x first floor rooms with plumbing problems.

Our first room bathroom bidet began to overflow with sewage particles when the bathtub was emptying. This was reported - expecting an immediate offer to move rooms - management suggested we STAY in the room and wait for a plumber.
We declined and asked for another room. Again we were allocated a first floor room - this also had a drainage problem (slow emptying bath and basin) but no bidet so the water wasn’t forced back up.
The lobby is with long waits & no seating. The bathrooms need steam extractor fans, tissues, and face washers.
No guest manual so had to guess how turn on the tv and use the safe (placed under the bottom shelf in a wardrobe so instructions were unreadable unless laying on the floor with a torch) . No bedside power points, no usb chargers.

Nice hotel, good room and a place to store the bicycles safely. Very good connection to the Metro network with the disadvantage that you can hear every Metro reaching the station in the room. Beautiful hotel in the 12th arrondissment, not too far from the Gare de Lyon.

Your door to Zurich: thanks to its very central location, the Hotel Bristol is the perfect base for your stay in Zurich. The main station is only a five-minute walk away, as are the historic old town, the famous shopping street on Bahnhofstrasse as well as the university / Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Most of the sights, cultural activities and the lake are easily accessible by foot.
Please take the exit on platform 16. Walk along the right-hand side of the station, cross the station forecourt and Walche Bridge in front of you. 70 metres ahead of you, you will see a passageway: use it, and then turn left. Continue for a further 150 metres, and you will see our hotel on the right-hand side of the street.
A train leaves the airport for the main station approx. every 10 minutes. The single fare costs approx. CHF 6. The airport station is located directly beneath the arrivals hall. The journey to Zurich central station takes 12 minutes. Visit www.sbb.ch for the timetable.

Lovely Stay in Septembr

My husband and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Hotel Bristol - Sorrento. We has a spacious double room with balcony on the 7th floor.
The hotel is a family run traditional style hotel with marble floors and long corridors, very quiet, calm and spotlessly clean.My husband and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Hotel Bristol - Sorrento. We has a spacious double room with balcony on the 7th floor.
The hotel is a family run traditional style hotel with marble floors and long corridors, very quiet, calm and spotlessly clean. What made our stay was the excellent service we received in the restaurant and bars.
A special mention for Luca and his team of waiters and waitresses in the restaurant both at breakfast and at dinner was outstanding. We were always made to feel special on entry and even at busy times we only waited literally second before a table was cleared and made available. Always with a welcoming smile and a cheerful manner. Special thanks to Carmine for his attentive and happy nature in providing our evening drinks at the table.
We booked half board and had intended to eat out in Sorrento on some of the nights. But the hotel food was lovely with plenty of choice so we ended up eating in the hotel every evening. It is possible to swop dinner for lunch, but we never did as the evening meals were so nice.
We will definitely aim to return to the Bristol as we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time there.

Fabulous hotel with great half board provision and super staff.

My wife requires gluten free options at meals and I had notified this in advance. Giuseppe the waiter met us on day one and looked after my wife's gluten free requirements at all of our meals and was assisted by Gianluca and Luca. Can't say how much this made our holiday.
Entertainment in the evening's could be better, it was good but only seemed to be provided for 3 nights of the 7 we stayed.
The staff of Topflight who organised tours as part of our package were excellent - big shout out to Lindsay, Lorna and Wendy they were thoroughly professional as well as great craic.

My wife & I have had 2 x fantastic holidays at The Sorrento Bristol & each time as relaxing as the other.
Our visits were in 1999 & 2020.
Convenient to the town, tranquil pool & lounging areas. Breath taking views from our room balcony & dining room.

I can’t fault the Hotel Bristol in Sorrento for service, variety and standard of food, cleanliness and the spectacular views from our balcony. However, after paying around £3000 for our week of half board in our superior room, I was astounded to pay €1.50 each time I used a towel at the poolside. This was non refundable. Furthermore, there were two sachets of instant coffee and powdered milk in the room for coffee on arrival. If I wanted any more throughout the holiday, I had to pay for this at reception. I felt this was outrageous as in have never had to do this even at a budget hotel. There was no entertainment in the evening also.

A lovely little hotel

We stayed here for 6 nights on our first visit to Rome and this hotel was very well positioned for the transfers and also for any tours you might want to do. The area is really busy but we did find some lovely little restaurants nearby.

We really appreciated the help Ricardo gave us at the front desk when our voucher for the Colosseum tour turned out to have the wrong time printed on it and we would have missed our tour if it wasn’t for his help.
We had a standard double room which wasn’t huge but big and comfortable enough for our stay with a fridge in the room and a complimentary bottle of water and we appreciated this. The breakfast selection was good and the quality decent. The bar tender was also very friendly. All in all we would return here but be aware of the extortionate city tax which is not the hotel’s doing.

Had a great stay here last week. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable and the air con was amazing (much needed in 36 degrees!)

Location wise it is 5 mins from Termini in a nice area. I was a little concerned before we went given the location close to the station, but there was absolutely no reason to be… I felt very safe at all times.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and has all the amenities you need. Great blackout blinds and curtains.

There was a small issue: we booked the jacuzzi each day well in advance. First day was great and the water was hot, but the second day the water was stone cold. They came up to fix it quickly, but said it wouldn’t be heated until 50 minutes later, which was after our reservation.
We asked to make sure the water would be warm for the next day. It was only lukewarm, not as hot as a jacuzzi should be. This was a big selling point for us so it was a little disappointing.
I think more care should be made to ensure the jacuzzi is ready for booked guests.
But overall, we enjoyed the stay. 👍

I was excited to book this hotel based on reviews I'd read online. The hotel is very modern but the room we had was literally tiny. We paid $177 with taxes for a "comfort room", and I felt paying that kind of money for a room where you couldn'tI was excited to book this hotel based on reviews I'd read online. The hotel is very modern but the room we had was literally tiny. We paid $177 with taxes for a "comfort room", and I felt paying that kind of money for a room where you couldn't walk around the double bed was very expensive, considering 2 weeks earlier, we stayed near Piazza Navona, also in a boutique hotel, and had a very large room with a phenomenal view for $140 with taxes.
The bed was very hard although the pillows were soft. We had a corner room and perhaps that was why the room was so small. The ceilings were very tall, but it was hard to get to the window to open the curtains - that's how small the room was. In the evening as we were falling asleep, there was clatter of dishes - not sure if this was a recycling day or if they were readying for morning breakfast.
Our other disappointment was that when we arrived and inquired about the hot tub facilities, we were told it was already booked. Nowhere online does it state that you need to make a reservation.
The area is yucky, and not very safe with few restaurant options in the area. The only good thing is it's walking distance to Termini Train station in case you need to travel by train anywhere. I would not stay here again.

I enjoyed staying at Leonardo Butique hotel Rome:
✔️Short distance to all bus stops 5 min walk
✔️Colosseum 30 min walking distance
✔️ Galleria Borghese just 25 min walk from the hotel
✔️Best option for Vatican museum entrance and group meeting point is bus number 40, the underground red line was closed in August.

I would like to thanks all people working in the hotel, Riccardo was the first who I met in the hotel, he upgraded my room floor 5, provided good guidance for travelling around city.
If you travel with small kids this hotel best option because you always get sit in a bus during busy hours.
White towels, bedding and room cleaning daily.
Would be nicer to have two different menu options for breakfast within a week (working days and weekend option)

My wife and I stayed here on our 1 night in Bordeaux. The location is ideal in the old city. It easy was to walk to the rice Rand see the sights. Standing at the foot of the bed, the left hand bedside light did not work which was annoying when I wanted to read and my wife did not (I had to use my phone torch)
The hand held shower head was a dribble and could not be effectively used

Really nice hotel in a great location. Being just around the corner from the busiest section of the city means that you are centrally located but isolated from the noise.
