Trendy it’s a good option to stay to explore Athens either for family or for couple exploring. The location is central, close to restaurants and the attractions in the city. Truly, a hidden gem. We found this hotel on LastMinute at a really good rate, the photos definitely pulling us in. When we got here, the staff were so friendly which made us feel more at ease, and helped with taxi arrangements when we left. The room had more thanTruly, a hidden gem. The room had more than enough space for 2 people, the bed comfy and well presented, shower was AMAZING and overall this was a lovely experience to sleep in. the breakfast in the morning was alright, could be improved, but was warm and tasted good. The only thing that is such a shame is the location. I did not feel safe going out around Athens at all. During the day there are so many drug users on every corner and it is not very nice to see them actively injecting. In the evening, there were a lot of pockets of groups that would loiter and it made me feel uneasy to walk anywhere without my partner. I would keep belongings out of sight and in a safe location.

This little hidden gem is not only affordable BUT it so adorable! I do mean hidden it’s definitely on one of the smallest streets I’ve seen. BUT there are other pubs and shops there as well sooo cute! The staff is phenomenal and so helpful. The rooftop barThis little hidden gem is not only affordable BUT it so adorable! Trendy Hotel By Athens is a cute boutique hotel. We were pleased with our stay and all the amenities and the most incredible shower / bathroom. The room was a bit tight but had great AC and TV as well as a safe and awesome blower. The breakfast was great lots of options. The location while at first was a bit intimidating coming from the airport and first time in Athens all we saw was graffiti everywhere and we could not believe how much there was so we were a bit skeptical of the area but to be honest it was super safe and walking distance toward the main tourist area 20 minutes to the acropolis and lots of breakfast cafes everywhere along the way and people walking. We had a walkway where there were some bars and shops and another hotel boutique and everyone was super friendly we stopped for a drink and was given one on the house. We called Ubers at times and they pulled up right to the Trendy or to the walkway so overall we had a great stay. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and answered our emails for transportation pick up. We would recommend. Thank You Trendy.

Stayed with family and friends and absolutely loved this place. Clean rooms, super friendly staff and the hotel was in the perfect location adjacent to the Marketplace. Food was very good at Sabor but the breakfast buffet needs some work. We loved Zorba’s for breakfastStayed with family and friends and absolutely loved this place. We loved Zorba’s for breakfast just a short walk away. Pools are very nice and the Flying Fish restaurant is amazing. Bones was fun for happy hour drinks and you can’t beat that view. Huge shout out to VanDyke at the Sabor bar for sharing stories and the history of the island. He is a HUGE asset to the staff. Just a great guy and so kind and human. I’d go back in a minute just to sit at his bar. Highly recommend and you can’t beat the room rate. Great value!

This is a nice hotel with a very pleasant staff and adjacent to a small tourist village with some nice restaurants. The rooms were newly done since the terrible hurricane that decimated Freeport. They were clean, spacious, nicely laid out and with a lovely view from the balcony. The rooms were newly done since the terrible hurricane that decimated Freeport. They were clean, spacious, nicely laid out and with a lovely view from the balcony. The furnishings are comfortable utilitarian and showed little sign of wear and tear. The bathroom was well lit, nice sized and with a shower that was a cinch to turn on and use. Bones Bar has great beer. We recommend the locally brewed Bones Ale. The breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing without fruit on 2 days and never any yogurt. Dinner at Sabor was excellent as they cooked our fresh catch perfectly. (Why the restaurants throughout the island refuse to serve tap water is shrouded in mystery. Apparently there was some salt intrusion but this is now corrected. Could this be a ploy to improve the bottom line).
This hotel is close to being 4 stars But to achieve a better rating I would ask for cleaner elevators, utensils and dish towels and some kitchen soap for the small kitchenette. A better buffet breakfast would also help.
We look forward to visit again next year with these improvements in mind.

3 seniors visited end of April. We loved staying in the suites. Balconies overlooking the canal, very comfortable for a 7 night stay. Entire facility was very clean & well cared for. Loved the grounds, ferry to Taino Beach, 3 pools, & location with all3 seniors visited end of April. We loved staying in the suites. Loved the grounds, ferry to Taino Beach, 3 pools, & location with all the nearby attractions. Sabor was great. All the staff from housekeeping, lobby staff, restaurant staff & grounds keepers were so nice, welcoming & helpful. Side note loved the fragrance in the lobby! Well done! If you need transportation we highly recommend 3B's Taxi & Tours.

We enjoyed use of the onsite swimming pools daily and I would recommend that anyone visit check out the onsite aquarium setup by Sabor restaurant to attract local tropical fish it is outstanding plus enjoyed the company of the local lizards by the pool daily

Room was average, bed was a beauty rest so nice & comfy, pillows are very small but comfy. Bathroom needs more shelves in shower. But was nice walk in. AC was very noisy but kept the room comfy. Amazing place, hospitality, and place to stay. The staff, Nana, Tasos were all amazing and hospitable. Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. Great breakfast too! Thera Mare is a lovely quiet hotel, ideal for what we were after - somewhere to rest and enjoy some peace and quiet.
We stayed for a week and found everything we needed within 10-15 mins walk - shops, restaurants, bars, beach, car/bike hire shops.
Although we didn't use it, the busThera Mare is a lovely quiet hotel, ideal for what we were after - somewhere to rest and enjoy some peace and quiet.
We stayed for a week and found everything we needed within 10-15 mins walk - shops, restaurants, bars, beach, car/bike hire shops.
Although we didn't use it, the bus to Oia and Fira is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel.
The pool was always quiet with sunbeds available at all times. Occasionally we were the only people using the area.
The rooms are small, but are sufficient. There is air con, clothing storage, a fridge, TV etc.. The hair dryer is one of those common hotel wall mounted ones that takes forever to dry your hair - I brought my own fortunately. The shower is small, and can flood the bathroom. We just cleared up with the towels provided which were changed every day. The shower was powerful and maintained the selected heat, which is always a bonus.
Due to our arrival time, staff were not at the front desk, but left very clear instructions on what we should do to access our room.
We were welcomed the following morning by Thasos, who gave us lots of info of where we should go to explore and eat. He helps with transport arrangements.
The breakfast is lacking a little - the food was nice, there was no variety, and after a few days, we chose to eat elsewhere.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we needed. I would not recommend for kids. This is great for couples/adults looking for somewhere to relax outside of the main tourist areas of Santorini, but still be able to access them easily, this is ideal.

I would highly recommend Thera Mare. This was my first holiday as a solo woman and from the second I walked into the hotel there was a great vibe and it felt a very safe place to be. This is mostly down to the friendly and welcoming staff, specifically Tasos.I would highly recommend Thera Mare. This is mostly down to the friendly and welcoming staff, specifically Tasos. He gave great advice for places to eat, drink and boat trips in the area. I am well travelled but this was the most friendly hotel I have been to.
The room was great and the hotel pool was perfect. The location is also great, was less than a 10 minute walk from the beach.
Would 100% go back. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!!

A wonderful hotel that I have told my other friends and family about. Will be looking to book again. Nice size hotel so lots of space around the pool and for it to not be too busy during food service.

I hope people read this and are duly warned about the quality of Filion Suites and end up with a true 5 star experience somewhere else in Crete as you won't find it at this hotel unfortunately.

Our experience included the following:
ROOMS DIRTY: (on arrival and following cleaning) doors, door handles, wall and floor tiles, bins all grotty and marked, pubic hair in the bath, hair in multiple locations, layer of dust on everything from bedheads and ledges, to tables and TV, dirty ashtray, walls marked, rubbish under the bed (toothpick, earbud, plastic wrappers, nail clipping), bedclothes marked x 2, blood stain or similar on bathroom wall, mould stained grouting throughout, mould stained walls, mould on walls.
DANGEROUS ELECTRICS: 2 x wires taped together from the fridges, exposed wires in the wall, exposed wires at the back of the Digibox/TV receiver, exposed wires in the bathroom hairdryer previously taped, broken plug with exposed wires from a floor lamp.
BROKEN ITEMS: Fridge door, fan, bathroom mirror lights x 2, TV remote control (taped together), shower door unable to stay closed, safes x 2, bathroom door lock, clothes airer, door handle.
MISCELLANEOUS: nail sticking out of the wall x 2, towels old looking and often badly frayed, material over the bed frayed and dusty, TV stand coming apart, incomplete building works outside, leak with staining through the ceiling, corrosion of aluminium doors, there was a smell of sewage near our rooms, floor lamp with no bulb, rubbish under and around sunbeds belonging to the room, lipstick marks a common occurence on glasses.
ALL INCLUSIVE: all coffee from machines (and reminded me of coffee in the 80s - watery and bitter), no fresh milk, tinned fruit on offer as part of dessert. Food generally really not of a 5 or even a 2 star experience. Fresh pizzas were good when they were on offer.

I definitely wouldn’t give it 5 stars, wouldn’t go back there.. The hotel was below average, deserves good 3 stars at most. Initially we’ve been located in a terrible, shabby room near the beach bar, with mouldy shower, broken appliances, dirty towels ect., near the room there was a staffI definitely wouldn’t give it 5 stars, wouldn’t go back there.. Initially we’ve been located in a terrible, shabby room near the beach bar, with mouldy shower, broken appliances, dirty towels ect., near the room there was a staff room where the cleaning crew was smoking and the smell of cigarettes on the corridor was unbearable especially when you’re coming with kids.. next day we’ve been moved to a better room and that improved our experience however still wouldn’t give it 5*.. room was ok, however no tea or coffee in the room available, towels had a unpleasant smell, stains and holes, lots of tiny ants in the room. Food was ok-ish, but not a big choice and no selection for kids, everything seemed to be the cheapest available on the market- jams, cornflakes, ice-creams, ect.. after 3-4 days we were bored of the food there.. food and alcohol at beach bar boring..
Staff (except one lady at the reception which was lovely and did everything to make our stay enjoyable) seemed tired, unkind, waiters smelled of sweat, which was terrible when you’re at the restaurant 😖, beach bar staff unkind (except the man in glasses and girl from Goergia).
Generally the hotel’s good days has passed and I wouldn’t visit it again for sure..

It is an outstanding hotel with very nice personell like Regina and Michalis. Also the Spa experience is fantastic and the massage. Professionals like Dimitris and Antonia working.

And Now I am Fully Refreshed!

This hotel was just what I and my 12 year old boy needed to chill and recharge our batteries. We had 10 nights here and are now fully refreshed to take on the rest of the Summer!

Firstly, I cannot fault any of the staff who catered for us during the stay. I usually went for a walk and swim in the sea just after sunrise and there was an army of people cleaning and tidying before the masses turned up to have their fun on the beach or at the pools. The place was spotless. Those that tidied the room (not that we are untidy!) did so very quickly, normally spotting that we had gone to breakfast, and we would come back to find it already done.
The main restaurant was a buffet style and the choice was amazing. Even then, if there was something else anyone wanted (especially for dietary reasons) I witnessed a chef regularly talking to guests to cater for them. We breakfasted like Kings, lunched like Kings and dined like Kings! Again, staff were very welcoming. There were a la carte restaurants as well, and we had reservations with them as part of our package, but I decided that the range of buffet food in the main restaurant did not limit a 12 year old's decision as to what to have for first, second and third course.
The beach and pools were the main go-to activities each day, and as such were always busy with families and couples. Whatever time of day we went, however, we always found a pair of sunbeds. Actually, we only sunbathed before 10am of after 4pm as in the middle of the day it was very hot. That time was spent either in the pool/sea, in the bar having a drink / reading / playing cards / watching the world go by, or generally wandering around the place.
There was entertainment laid on most evenings, from a fire show, to olive oil tasting, to a film on the beach. Not all of it was to our taste, but there if you wanted it. There was also water sports - pedalo, paddle board hire, boat trips around the island.
The hotel is not anywhere near a town, so if you want to discover the local area you would have to take a bus, for example, into Corfu town (about 30 minutes away). That was not the objective of our holiday, but the option is definitely there.
Overall, a fantastic break in a friendly hotel where you can fully recharge and relax.

This place is a living hell in August !
1) too many people and not enough places at the pools or the beach to sit.
2) for a 10 days stays, they allowed you to eat 5 dinner in restaurants they selected for you. The others dinners you will have to eatThis place is a living hell in August !
1) too many people and not enough places at the pools or the beach to sit.
2) for a 10 days stays, they allowed you to eat 5 dinner in restaurants they selected for you. The others dinners you will have to eat a buffet in a canteen very ugly.
3) if your kids are young and have simple test they will eat every day the same meal : french fries, nuggets or fish sticks. In all the restaurants it’s the same kids menu.
If they want they also can have frozzen pizza 🤮
4) quality of food
5) they are not able to find any solution if you’re not happy with your stay. The only objective is to place as many people as possible in the hotel.

The Hotel is amazing. The staff provides excellent service. The facilities are built for adults and kids. The variety of food/drinks ( bars/restaurant ) are perfect. In my opinion; the best all inclusive hotel I have stayed at. Special thanks to Roula (GR), Polyxeni ( Beach restaurant ), Kostas (The Hotel is amazing. The staff provides excellent service. The facilities are built for adults and kids. The variety of food/drinks ( bars/restaurant ) are perfect. In my opinion; the best all inclusive hotel I have stayed at. This hotel is without a doubt the best hotel I have ever been to! The surroundings are beautiful the hotel is immaculately clean and the staff work tirelessly to help and are all so friendly and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful the hotel is immaculately clean and the staff work tirelessly to help and are all so friendly and welcoming. The food is exceptional in all the restaurants we tried and they also offer a dine out experience to a local taverna all included in your AI package which was also lovely. I would like to mention a few staff that made our stay- Jim at the pool bar and Theodora at the water park were lots of fun and always remembered our room number what drinks we had and where we sitting going above and beyond to help. I would also like to mention Roula in guest relations- we wanted to take a trip to Corfu town and she put together an itinerary for us of places to see and visit so make sure you pop by and see her if you want to do this she is so helpful! Some of the places we visited were top notch and would never have found them without her! She even gave us a little gift when we left, which was so thoughtful she is absolutely wonderful and an asset to the hotel. You will not be disappointed visiting this hotel a real gem and we will 100% return

Great hotel. Service was superb and staff very welcoming at the hotel and in all the restaurants.
The resort was very clean and the facilities were great. The food/wine options were good and the a la carte restaurants were a nice change from eating at the buffet. WeGreat hotel. Service was superb and staff very welcoming at the hotel and in all the restaurants.
The resort was very clean and the facilities were great. The food/wine options were good and the a la carte restaurants were a nice change from eating at the buffet. We particularly enjoyed the Celeste French restaurant.
We really appreciated the 30 minutes of water-sports per day and swimming at the beach amongst the fish.
All in all you are very well looked after by all the staff.

We have just spent a family trip in Rhodes and booked our stay at the Bellevue Hotel.
It was AMAZING! We were extremely happy with our choice. Perfectly clean rooms, exceptional breakfast, perfect service and the staff is making the whole experience even better. Marvelously Magical, Memorable Rhodes Experience

We spent 5 nights at Bellevue On The Beach Suites and it was one of the most wonderful, memorable hotel stays we have ever had as a family. My husband, 7 year old son and I traveled to Rhodes to attend a wedding. We had never been to Greece, letWe spent 5 nights at Bellevue On The Beach Suites and it was one of the most wonderful, memorable hotel stays we have ever had as a family. My husband, 7 year old son and I traveled to Rhodes to attend a wedding. We had never been to Greece, let alone Rhodes. We knew nothing about anything. We found Bellevue on the Beach Suites because the wedding couple linked to a list of hotels that were part of the Esperia Collection. The wedding party and most of the guests stayed in a big resort in Faliraki -- the only reason we didn't stay there was because it was an adults-only resort (and we had our child with us)... but we are SO GLAD we ended up at Bellevue instead. It was the perfect fit for us. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with premium view, which had the most astonishing view of the ocean and the north point of the island. Absolutely stunning. The room was immaculate, spacious, and had everything a family could want. It was great to be able to cook simple meals if needed, especially as we have a picky eater child. The staff are so kind, and the intimate and personable quality really made us feel not only at home but totally safe. We needed to hire a sitter for our son to attend the wedding -- which is a nerve-wracking endeavor for parents when in a foreign place with no local contacts. Katerina introduced us to a wonderful sitter, and given the security and privacy Bellevue offers, we felt totally safe and confident that our son was in good hands. We had a great time at the wedding, and our son had an awesome time with his sitter Tasoula, who patiently played Nintendo Switch with him. Dimitri, Theodore and Nico were fabulous. The breakfast is wonderful and so elegant as well as totally delicious. The rooftop infinity pool, which each room/family can reserve for private use for 2 hour blocks, is INSANE. THE VIEW! All the details were perfection; the attention and thoughtfulness, and the elegant, smooth delivery is impressive and so appreciated. Katerina was prompt in my email questions prior to our arrival, and a gorgeous delight when we finally met in person. We loved the location, even though we were away from our friends. It worked for us, balancing out the wedding party aspect with visiting the island part. The beach is gorgeous. Bellevue is a very impressive property, and we are so fortunate to have stayed there. Our son felt so happy and loved staying there, he made me promise that if we ever returned to Rhodes, we would stay there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you, Bellevue team!

Do not go to this hotel!!! Bad service, dirty room and on top of that the day after we left I see that they charged me 100€ on the grounds that we took a mirror from the room which of course I didn't take. It's a fraud, don't go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do not go to this hotel!!! A lovely boutique hotel in Rhodes Town with very friendly and attentive service. The hotel offers beautiful sunset views and is in a great location within walking distance to the old town. The public beach in front of the hotel is average.
