The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to everywhere, including a short walk to the MRT. The on-site restaurants and bars are wonderful, offering a great dining experience. Benihana always rocks and cleaning of the hotel is on top notch! Highly recommended!

This was my very first visit to Bangkok, but my wife has visited the city numerous times. We were in Bangkok as our daughter was competing with her school in a competition and she was staying in their sister hotel Pullman. We had booked a room for 7 nights.

Check-in was smooth and went to our room. The room was large and on the 18th floor. huge bed and pillows and all the switches were bedside including the a/c controls. The rooms maybe considered a little dated, but everything worked and was comfortable. They had some welcome candies in our room for our enjoyment. The hotel is trying to be very sustainable and very little plastic in use. Even the room keys were wooden. (A first for me.)
Breakfast was good and lots of varieties, There was Chinese, Korean, Indian, Western etc. But for some reason no Thai food offered. I have a feeling this is a deliberate choice. Maybe it had to do with the many airline crew staying there. But anyway, I was ok with it and should say I was hooked on Indian masala tea for 7 days. I only remember miss Mook and miss Nook in the breakfast room. That's my mistake. All of them were excellent and service impeccable. Housekeeping was also excellent. Not once did we need to ask for anything. They made sure the room was serviced properly.
2 days before check out we got a note saying they were trying to deliver something to our roman we should contact them for delivery. I forgot about it but on the last evening when we returned, there was a metal plank with 3 chocolate elephants on it. (white milk and dark chocolates). It was so pretty, we brought it home and still have it in our fridge. The last morning the part of the lights went out In the room. We called the front desk and someone from maintenance was there within minutes to fix it. It was a keycard error. Of course this things happen in a busy hotel. We had a nice stay in Grand Mercure Atrium, and I really enjoyed my first trip to Bangkok.
Thank you to all of you for making our stay great. I am happy to have experienced Thai hospitality. Kob kun khrap.

This hotel is located in southern Thailand, perfectly positioned at the secluded end of Samui's most beautiful beach. I love Amari Resort in Koh Samui for the hospitality, food quality in Amaya and Spa.

Food was certainly very nice in Amaya, Breakfast is huge and so much to choose from Thai to European selection, food variety and make your own fresh juice, bakeries and huge selection at the live cooking area. Lunch in Amaya have great selection and taste is very good.
Spa is really top and they are really very professional. Massage was very relaxing as the team is professional, treatment room are very neat, the refreshments are so unique.
Prego Italian restaurant set up is great and wine selection is good. We went there mainly due to the extensive advertisement on big boards all around Samui. Food lacks seasoning, the bread was surely stale, eating grissini and focaccia with a tasteless tomato sauce which could have been a sun dried tomato dip could have been better. The pizza needs improvement as the base was soggy. The salad had pesto which was definitely a ready made, seafood was overcooked. Bruschetta with chunks of tomato is not easy to eat, sure they look good but when you bite half fell apart. Tiramisu did not even feel like the savoiardi biscuit was dipped in espresso but it was more creamy dessert. I tried some very good Italian restaurants around the world from Europe to Middle East and East Asia. It is below average in Prego. Definitely they need an improvement in food or the chef lacks expertise. Service was good!
I will surely go back.

Had a 3 week stay at the Amari and I cannot fault it at all, we had a poolside room which was overlooking a fantastic pool, the room itself was very nice and well maintained on a daily basis.

I cannot say enough about how great the staff were….nothing seemed like a problem for them. The breakfast selection was vast and always good.
Not that we used it but the kids club always looked a hit with the kids as they always seemed very eager to go in and sad to leave.
I highly recommend the Amari and will be back😁

We had a wonderful time & their staff particularly Pop & Runnie were especially helpful and friendly, making our stay extremely enjoyable. They went out of their way to make us happy. My friends and I travelled from Australia and upon arrival we got upgraded to the family suite - it was amazing!! The rooms are huge, clean and beautiful. Hotel staff are very kind. Impeccable hotel in every respect.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. On our first day we went to the buffet breakfast and when we went in we asked if they could accommodate gluten free for my wife. They said not today but with a day’s notoire they can.Impeccable hotel in every respect.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. On our first day we went to the buffet breakfast and when we went in we asked if they could accommodate gluten free for my wife. They said not today but with a day’s notoire they can. We decided to go anyway so I could at least eat with my daughter, even if my wife couldn’t. The walk to the buffet from that location was about 100m. When we got there someone said they’d arranged gluten free bread and it would be coming in a few minutes. This was a representative example of the frequent great communication and attention to our needs from the staff.
The facilities are great: we used the pool a lot and it’s huge and clean and relaxing. The laundry on level 16 was also very clean and did a great job of cleaning and drying all our clothes. At $20 for a wash and dry that’s pretty much the same price as the laundrette a few streets away in Little India.
We had a family suite and it was enormous. It was so great to have a whole separate second bedroom and bathroom and huge living area. The windows are floor to ceiling which means the room is so well naturally lit through the day. The views of the city if you get a room on that side are pretty good too, with glimpses of some of the skyscrapers on the northern side of the city.
The location is good too, right by a big shopping mall, next to a 24/7 emergency hospital, with a pharmacy and two 7/11s right there, and right over Farrer Park MRT.
The two biggest negatives are that the beds are a little firm, but no firmer than what is standard in Asia in my experience, and the hot water sometimes took a while to heat up in the showers and taps… close to three or four minutes of it running full pelt before feeling any warmth in the water.

Pool area is huge and very tasteful in design. Fitness facilities were good, clean and well equipped.
All in all a very good experience - we can highly recommend One Farrer Hotel.
